The Gaslight Jazz Band

Tony Ricks is widely recognised as 'The John Williams of the Banjo'. For private parties he is often asked to play a jolly, foot-tapping musical welcome for the guests, as they arrive, for photographs and pre-dinner drinks. This is performed with style, allowing guests to mix and mingle and enjoy conversation.

The group have a variety of appropriate stage costumes to suit your event, including 3 Types of Waistcoats (Red, Burgundy, and Black & White Stripes) and 2 Types of Tuxedos (White or Black). All this is with Black Trousers, White Shirts, Black Bow Tie, Patent Leather Shoes and Black Bowler Hats. They create a dashing and lively sight! They have appeared on ITV's 'GMTV' and have regularly played on BBC Radio.

Their huge repertoire of much-loved jazz standards is bound to get toes tapping and to help make your guests feel in a relaxed happy mood. During dinner itself the style changes to tasteful stylish jazz and swing standards always played at an appropriate level. Afterwards the band can continue and play for dancing with songs to suit the occasion.
