For private parties Mad Dog & The Sophisticats can
perform a stunningly popular mobile, trad jazz reception
set, creating a happy, warm welcome for your guests,
'breaking the ice' on their arrival. As they are an
acoustic, 'mobile' outfit they can mingle and keep everyone
entertained whilst photographs are taken and during
your pre-dinner drinks.
The band then changes both their attire (into black
tuxedo) and their instrumentation (the euphonium player
to bass, & the banjo player to acoustic guitar).
During the meal itself, they play a conveyor belt of
well known classy tunes by artists such as Cole Porter,
Irving Berlin & George Gershwin (at an appropriate
volume!), stimulating relaxed conversation between guests.
This offers 2 Brilliant Bands for the price of one!!!
 The
Jazz Band entices a more informal ambience than a string
quartet and Civil Ceremonies are a specialty. They have
recently opened many prestigious International Jazz
Festivals and have performed regularly in the top jazz
clubs in Paris and London.
With additional members added for an evening dance,
his riotous band of zany musicians can set the place
alight with a great big ball of fun.
